realme 6i Officially Launched In Malaysia With World’s First MediaTek Helio G80 Chipset; Priced From RM699

It hasn’t been long since the realme 5i was launched back in January 2020, and now we have the realme 6i to look forward to as realme Malaysia has officially announced the realme 6i to the Malaysian market!

Price And Availability

The realme 6i with 3GB RAM + 64GB ROM is priced at RM699 with its first online sale starting this 23 April 2020 at exactly 12am. There will be an exclusive 24-hour promo from 12AM to 11:59PM on the same day on Shopee, where you can get the device at another RM100 off, so you can get it at RM599!

The 4GB RAM + 128GB ROM is priced at RM899 and will be available at all authorised dealers nationwide starting 25 April 2020.

Designed by Naoto Fukusawa, the device comes in two colours; Green Tea & White Milk. Yum.

Features To Look Out For

To recap, the realme 6 is equipped with the first MediaTek Helio G80 chipset. The octa-core CPU has a main frequency, up to 2.0GHz and offering 35% better single-core performance. The Mali G52 1000MHz GPU also delivers 25% better performance. The result of Antutu Benchmark is 201,278, in a way being the highest benchmark and heightens the entry-level among mid-level phones.

This means the realme 6i is capable of greater image quality and a more stable frame rate close to 60fps while gaming!

Speaking of image quality, the realme 6i comes with a 48MP AI Quad Camera alongside with the f/1.8 large aperture and the 6P lens. In which 48MP main camera, 119° ultra-wide-angle lens (8MP), portrait lens (2MP) and 4cm ultra macro lens (2MP). Each camera of which is carried out its respective function and collaborated closely with others, resulting in striking photo experience and fun. Particularly, the ultimately clear 48MP main camera helps produce clear and beautiful photos (which you can see above!).

What stood out about the realme 5i was its massive 5000mAh battery, and the realme 6i sticks to that and upgrades it further with 18W Quick Charge with the 9V/2A that helps to raise the charging speed and reduce the charging time. Based on battery testing done by realme, the realme 6i can last for 39 days with the screen off and 40.07 hours with the screen on!

It also comes with triple safety protection for user safety concerns as the safety test covers every piece of the interior of the battery and charger.
