Honor Confirms X10 5G; Aims To Be Most Affordble 5G Smartphone In The Market

Honor had just recently launched the Honor 9 Pro, and as we wait for the Lite version to make its way here too, it looks like they’re ready to launch their next smartphone in the X line soon; Honor X10.

Yup, instead of going with the Honor 10X the way it has been for their previous lines, the name will be changed to the Honor X10 instead. It seems that Honor made the change in the name so that it doesn’t get confused with Xiaomi’s rumoured Redmi 10X.

What’s even more interesting about the X10 that it’s expected to be a 5G device and Honor claims they are going all out in making the X10 the most affordable 5G device in the market, though this looks likely to reference to the market in China. In fact, rumours are circulating that it will be even cheaper than the Redmi K30 which is the current affordable 5G smartphone in China.

The Redmi K30 is currently the most affordable 5G smartphone in the market

The Redmi K30 is priced at RMB2999 (~RM1848) so if it is possible for the X10 to be cheaper, that would be quite a feat!

Other specs to look out for include a 6.6-inch display and a reasonably large 4,300 mAh battery. No word on an official launch date yet though it’s likely to come out this year.
